Our perspective

Rooted in Nature.
Connected by Community.

We begin with what makes a place meaningful—its landscape, its stories, and the people connected to it. Thoughtful planning carries those roots forward into spaces where people can move, gather, and feel at home.

At Golden Lake Development, our mission is to create visionary master plans that integrate thoughtful development with the preservation of the land’s natural integrity. We plan for vibrant communities with respect for the environment, cultural heritage, and the landscapes that make each property distinct.

We begin with the end in mind: understanding the homes, infrastructure, and relationships a community needs to succeed. That perspective guides each decision, from evaluating a land position to planning the delivery of finished lots.

Every landscape tells a story.
We carry it forward.

Our vision begins with listening to the land—understanding its history, its ancestral roots, and the lives that shaped it. Especially on legacy properties, that story guides how we plan, what we preserve, and what we bring to life.

As a new community takes shape, its connection to the past should remain. The people who walked this land before us deserve to be remembered, and their stories deserve a place in its future.

That same care shapes everyday life outdoors. Welcoming porches, walking and cycling trails, trail-side fitness, natural playgrounds, and shared gathering places create opportunities for movement, well-being, and connection.

President & Founder

Danielle Wren, President and Founder of Golden Lake Development, brings nearly two decades of experience in land development and real estate. Her understanding of the development process guides each phase of a project—from its first vision through planning, partner alignment, and execution.

For Danielle Wren, time outdoors is an essential part of feeling grounded, staying active, and connecting with others. Her love of nature and commitment to wellness help shape Golden Lake’s approach to community planning.

That influence comes to life in fitness trails woven into the landscape, inviting outdoor gathering places, and shared spaces that encourage movement, conversation, and connection. Each is thoughtfully considered to make nature and well-being part of everyday life—and bring people together along the way.
